PREPARING FOR THE TASK
Find a successful person in your field of study.
Draw a mind map where you:
Introduce this person
Describe his/her success and why he/she is successful
Describe how this person has made a difference

PRE-TASK:
Students work in group of 4 read the text on the board. Then, talk about the one common factor that all successful people have. Make a list of these possible factors and discuss them.

What makes the most successful people on the planet different from the rest of us? If we were more like Radamel Falcao Garcia or Choquibtown, surely, we could enjoy the same level of success they do. In truth, however, we pay too much attention to what high achievers are like, and not enough to where they come from and the opportunities they had along the way. However, there is one factor −so obvious that it is right under our noses – that all successful people share…
PRE-TASK:
Students think about a person in their family, social or university circle and who they consider is successful in what he or she does. Think about what they had to do where they are today. (study the vocabulary from pages 80 and 82 of the student-book and do the activities in the workbook pages 47-47).

Students get together in groups of 4.
Each student talks about the person they selected and socialize their mind map.
Once all students have done that, each student writes about what they learned from their classmates´ presentation, on each of their classmates´mind map.
Then, create new groups of 3-4 and repeat the process.
